At Alarm & Electronics, we're more than an installer — we're a State-licensed, FM-certified life safety company with our own 24/7 monitoring center. For nearly four decades, we've protected homes, businesses, and government facilities across South Florida.
Despite his demanding career, Michael is actively involved with community organizations and has served as the director of the Miami Dade County Alarm Association of Florida for over three years, focusing on fire safety and the advancement of security solutions.

All systems are engineered in-house using Computer Aided Design (CAD) to ensure accuracy and full compliance with fire and building codes — not a one-size-fits-all install.

Certified people, not just equipment
Every technician is factory-trained and State-certified (BASA/FASA). Our office and monitoring staff hold the same standard, down to NICET and FCC licensing on our leadership team.

Through our sister company, Central Alarm Control, we operate our own UL & FM-certified monitoring station — so the same company that designs and installs your system is the one watching it 24/7.

Michael Paul Donnelly

Responsible for R&D, marketing, operations, and strategic alliances. Ten years in the alarm industry before founding A&E in 2007, preceded by ten years of active duty in the U.S. Navy, including service as a Navy SEAL — Naval Special Warfare Communicator, Sniper, Explosives Expert, and Point Man, graduating with honors from Escuela de LANCERO. Serves as director of the Miami-Dade County Alarm Association of Florida.
Russell Jones
— Operations, Central Alarm Control
15+ years of executive experience in the South Florida low-voltage market. Manages Central Alarm Control (CAC), A&E's monitoring center. State-licensed contractor in Florida (EF20000930) and Georgia (LVU406848), NICET Level IV certified, FCC GROL licensed. B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University. Serves on the executive board of the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
